Dali Grooves
Daliana Lopez, also known as Dali Grooves, is a Cuban-born performing and visual artist, educator, and choreographer whose work reflects a deep connection to culture, community, and self-expression.
Her passion for movement flourished with Cuban street styles like Reparto and Reggaeton, while her mother introduced her to Salsa, Bachata, Merengue, and Cha-Cha, shaping her diverse artistic foundation, then later expanded her training to include: Contemporary, Hip-Hop, Breaking, House, Waacking, and Afro-Beat.
Dali has had numerous performance highlights.
In 2023, she collaborated on “Slowshow” at the MOCA Museum, directed by CalArts faculty Dimitri Chamblas
Performed at the World of Dance Finals as part of an exhibition with Snowmies.
She began competing in freestyle battles at age 19, debuting at Red Bull Dance Your Style 2023, and found her passion for storytelling through movement in the freestyle culture.
In 2024, she secured her first major victory at Grooves of Movement, Fresno’s inaugural House Battle.
Daliana’s artistry also extends to the entertainment industry.
She has appeared in music videos for artists like Heaven Iriya,

Made her acting debut as a actress in the indie film “Lose Lose” directed by Alex Hoffman.
