Daliana Lopez, also known as Dali Grooves, is a Cuban-born performing and visual artist, educator, and choreographer whose work embodies a profound connection to culture, community, and authentic self-expression. Her artistic journey began with the vibrant Cuban street styles of Reparto and Reggaetón, enriched by early exposure to Salsa, Bachata, Merengue, and Cha-Cha through her mother, laying a deeply diverse and rich foundation. Over time, after joining Inertia Dance Company she expanded her repertoire to include Contemporary, Jazz, Hip-Hop, Breaking and House.

Daliana’s impressive career features numerous standout moments. In 2023, she collaborated on the critically acclaimed “Slowshow” at the MOCA Museum, directed by CalArts faculty Dimitri Chamblas, and performed at the WOD Finals alongside Snowmies. Launching her freestyle battle career at 19, she made a notable debut at Red Bull DYS 2023, where she discovered her passion for storytelling through improvisational movement. In 2024, she achieved a significant milestone by winning Grooves of Movement, Fresno’s first-ever House Battle.

Daliana’s creativity extends beyond the stage into the entertainment industry. She has appeared in music videos for prominent artists such as Tori Kay, Kyler Fisher and Jay Park. Additionally, she made her acting debut in the indie film “Lose Lose,” directed by Alex Hoffman, showcasing her versatile artistic talents.
